The program was initiated by a presentation given to students at Aminiyya School in order to educate them about the capital market.
The program will be conducted in phases where presentations would be given to schools and other areas of the community. The purpose of Investor Education Programes are to sensitize the Maldivian population on the objectives of a stock exchange, the nature and the type of tradable instruments, the stock brokers, investing in the market and the role of the regulators.
