Investor Complaints

Complaint handling:

If you have a complaint against a market participant (a Dealing Company or Broker or a listed company) please register your complaint directly with the market participant concerned. At the first instance, MSE expects the investor to resolve the complaint with the market participant.

Investors who are dissatisfied with the manner in which the complaint was handled by the market  participant or the reply from the market participant, they should lodge a complaint in writing directly with the MSE through the complaints form available on this website or by obtaining a complaint form directly from MSE office.

Please attach a copy of your national identity card while submitting the form.

Where a complaint is received by MSE, the procedures for handling the complaint is as follows:

1. The MSE will write to the market participant concerned and clarify any issues that it may have. After that MSE will decide on what course(s) of action to take.

2. Where the MSE is not satisfied with the reply from the market participant then the MSE may conduct an investigation and take appropriate actions against the market participant.

3. The complainant will be informed of the decision taken by the MSE.
